Pointers

I am delighted to be owned by two Pointers, Rowan and Hugo.  I can't thank Annette Siddle enough for breeding these two fantastic boys and letting them share their lives with us.  And here started my love of the breed and the start of dog showing!  Rowan was a real challenge, he thought it was such a hoot and much more fun to leap up and down, put his paw over the lead and lay on the floor with his legs in the air!!  For him showing was just soooooo boring!  How different was Hugo.  By now I'd been paying attention and practicing hard with Annette and Amelia Siddle giving me such valuable advice and training.  Ron Rodwell took me under his wing and was invaluable in his help, critiqueing me when I came out of the ring and making me practice what I'd got wrong until I got it right!  Well it all paid off and finally I got the knack and not only am I showing Hugo to his full potential but also winning Adult Handling Classes.  Who'd have guessed!

Wilchrimane Dartmoor Dream ShCM - Hugo

Crufts 2011

Well what a great Crufts for us.  Judge Frank Kane picked Hugo 2nd in a large Post Graduate Dog class.  As you can see, he really can move.

Here's what Frank Kane had to say about Hugo:

4 years, appealed for his shape, type and construction, oval bone and feet, full of quality.

Hugo goes Best in Show at South Western Gundog and gains the last points he needs for his ShCM.  Then at Devon County Show is awarded  Best Gundog and at Taunton Premier Open Show awarded Best of Breed under Breed specialist Wendy Gordon.

Thank you to Roger Taylor, Gill Lewis and Wendy Gordon for thinking so highly of our boy.

Fuler and Millard's Wilchrimane Dartmoor Dream truly masculine throughout, excellent head, good reach of neck, excellent shoulder angulation, plenty of heartroom, excellent front, well boned and excellent rearquarters, moving well and with drive.

POINTER O. (11). 1. Fuller and Millards', Wilchrimane Dartmoor Dream. A lovely class but Dartmoor Dream caught my eye right from the start. Not yet 2 years old but maturing nicely. Beautiful balance throughout. Including his lovely head and expression. Covered the ground well as he powered round the ring.  BOB and Group 2

Pointer L 5 (3) 1 Fuller and Millard's Wilchrimane Dartmoor Dream, striking b/w male, balanced head, dark eye, flows through a series of curves, well sprung ribcage & deep brisket, well bones legs & correct feet, very outgoing personality, very sound positive movement.  BOB and Group 4
Jacqui A Ward

Taunton & District CS 2010

G (6,3a) 1 Fuller and Millard's Wilchrimane Dartmoor Dream. Liked his eye shape and colour with plenty of work under them. Slight dish to muzzle-fine flews, pronounced occiput all gave this dog an aristocratic head. Slight arch to neck flowed well into good topline with pleasing tail set and carriage, both standing and on the move, depth to brisket, well sprung rib, good turn of stifle, hocks set squarely from behind, presented and shown with style, preferred the flow of his curves to 2.
